Our Staff
Jennifer Perkins is a mother of two who lives in Hillsborough, NC. She has been Dr. Cataldo’s lead assistant for almost two years. Jennifer graduated from Alamance Community College in 2006. She is a highly-trained, well-rounded, and dependable assistant who takes pride in helping her patients.
Aimee Kelsey is married and has a handsome little boy and they live in Stem, NC. She earned her dental assistant certificate from North Carolina Dental Assistant Training School. Aimee is a highly-skilled, dynamic assistant who takes great pride in every detail of her work providing excellent patient care.
Lynn Cunningham is originally from up north, but has made North Carolina her home for the past six years. Lynn is the proud mother of a beautiful little girl.
Lissa Buckner is a graduate of the University of Evansville, IN, school of business and administration. Lissa began her career as a dental assistant in September, 1997 and continued for nearly 12 years with her dental career. With her business administration background, Lissa was the obvious choice to assume the financial patient coordinator position at the practice. Lissa is a native of Jacksonville, NC and enjoys living in Raleigh with her husband, Brad, and son, Victor, along with her two white labs, Sunny and Boger. They spend a lot of time on the surrounding lakes on their Donzi as well as riding Harleys. Lissa enjoys entertaining family and friends with BBQs and gatherings. She is one of the friendly voices you will hear on the phone and is always willing to help you schedule an appointment, answer financial questions, and assist you with insurance claims.
Laura Welgos has worked as a dental hygienist for over 30 years. She is a graduate of the dental hygiene program at UNC, Chapel Hill. She enjoys working with her patients to achieve and maintain their periodontal health.
Jillian Marino is a caring mother of three teenagers – two sons and a daughter who enjoys making their home in Hillsborough. She has been a hygienist for over ten years at the Carolina Coast as well as having served as a civilian hygienist at Cherry Point Military Base. The last 15 years, she has been fortunate to practice in the Chapel Hill, Durham, and surrounding areas. Even though I am a bit of a “veteran” to this office, I had the privilege of working with both Drs. Mitchum and Schroer. Now on Dr. Cataldo’s staff, I am carrying on the tradition of providing friendly patient care and I will do my best to address your personal needs.
