Office Hours & Scheduling
Dr. Cataldo's office is open during the following hours:
- Monday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Tuesday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Wednesday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Thursday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Friday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
We make every effort to stay on schedule to minimize waiting and inconvenience. Please return the courtesy by arriving on time and keeping scheduled appointments. Occasionally a dental emergency can cause delays to the schedule, and your understanding and patience are very much appreciated.
When A New Patient Calls Our Office
When you first call the office, our scheduling coordinator will ask a few brief questions so that we may properly reserve your appointment. Please have the following information available if possible:
- Your referral slip. This should state why your dentist is referring you to our office – a comprehensive exam, implant evaluation, or selective evaluation.
- Do you have a history of heart murmur, mitral valve prolapse, rheumatic heart disease, artificial heart valves or artificial joint replacement (e.g., hip or knee)? These conditions often require antibiotic premedication for all appointments. If not taken, we may be unable to treat/examine you at your visit.
- Did your dentist take dental radiographs (x-rays) and did they give them to you?
The scheduling coordinator will request that you complete the patient registration and medical history forms. By completing these forms at home before your appointment you can more accurately and conveniently provide the necessary information. Please be sure to list all medications taken and insurance information if applicable.
At the time of your initial visit to the office please bring the following:
- Your referral slip.
- Dental radiographs (x-rays) from your referring dentist, if requested.
- Your completed patient registration and medical history forms
- If you have dental insurance, please bring any forms or insurance cards with you to the appointment, as we are unable to obtain these.
